Sociologist, Educator, & Yoga Practitioner
I am a feminist, sociologist, social justice activist, yoga practitioner, perpetual student, and artist. On this page you can find out more about me, read my blog, and access a variety of resources for both students and teachers hoping to continue their education or deepen their practice.
As an educator, I focus on promoting critical thinking and self reflection to better understand the intersectional nature of systems of oppression and privilege, as well as the impacts these systems have on all our lives. In my academic work, my research and academic teaching explores mechanisms and impacts of social change, with a grounding in cultural sociology, complex organizations, and social movement studies. As an activist, I seek to utilize the tools feminism, sociology, and yoga provide to promote greater equity and justice for all. As a yoga practitioner, I offer a unique, sociological perspective on the practice and industry to promote greater access(ibility) and inclusivity. I teach a variety of trainings, workshops and courses relating to my research and areas of expertise. If you are interested in booking my services as an educator, speaker, or yoga teacher, feel free to contact me.
